About Allen Watson Ltd

Company History

Established in 1984, Allen Watson started working on contracts for local building firms using impact moles to install service pipes for water, gas and electricity. By 1986, with a growing client base and reputation for reliability, we were soon successfully completing major contracts including multiple duct crossings under the M1 and M25 motorways. As projects demanded larger and longer bores, the company invested in pipe ramming and auger boring equipment, along with horizontal directional drills.

Today, Allen Watson owns and operates the most extensive and diverse range of boring equipment in the UK and has successfully completed thousands of bores under railways, rivers, airports, roads and buildings, installing pipes and cable ducts from 25mmØ up to 1600mmØ.
