Guided Auger Boring (GAB)

(Sometimes referred to as Guided Thrust Boring)

Compact boring equipment operating from shafts or pits as small as 2.40-metre diameter, Allen Watson designs, own and operate the widest, most powerful, versatile range of Guided Auger Boring systems. With jacking forces from 85te to 160te we provide the total solution for installation of gravity pipes, cable ducts or simply where accuracy is paramount.

We are extensively using this as a safe and cost effective alternative to micro tunnelling, timber headings and in many instances open cut.
